Happy Update – May 20th, 2020

We have some *paw*sitive news to share with you!

On April 16th, Simon was brought to the SPCA covered in wounds and missing patches of fur. Because of you, we were able to provide the best treatment for his recovery.

The fur Simon did have was covered in mats so it needed to be shaved immediately. He had a bit of a funny looking hair cut but his fur grew back beautifully.

Simon’s mouth was a mess and needed some work so it would no longer cause him distress. Once Simon was strong enough, we were able to complete a dental and neuter surgery. So, now Simon has a brand new healthy smile to go with his new hair cut.

And that’s not all… after spending one month in our care, Simon was adopted! Our vet cleared that Simon could go up for adoption and it was not soon after posting his picture online that adoption applications came flooding in. We are so excited that he now has a loving family and new home.

Adoption Update – June 3rd, 2020

Simon is thriving with his new forever family. They shared that he is doing great and that he is very active and playful. He fits into the family puuuurfectly! Check out the adorable pictures they sent with Simon settling into his new home.

None of this could have been possible without your amazing support. On behalf of Simon, thank you for your kindness, generosity, and dedication to helping local pets in need.

*It is possible there may not be any further updates due to adoption confidentiality. If the family does reach out to us and provide any further updates or pictures we will share them here. Thank you!*
