Please Help Now

We’ll do anything to look after animals. Even if that means sleeping at the shelter or travelling by skidoos. But unfortunately due to the severe snowstorm and the local state of emergency, the Cape Breton SPCA is no longer safe.

We are making an emergency evacuation to protect pets and our team. All 45 shelter pets are being transported to sister shelters throughout the province.

Donate below today to make a difference. Every bit helps! Thank you for caring.

We never wait to provide urgent care for our furry friends. Your support will help to repair damages to the shelter and recover lost lifesaving supplies.

If somehow we raise more than needed, any additional funds will provide lifesaving care for local pets.
