Thank you so much for your interest in volunteering with the Nova Scotia SPCA. At this time, all in-person SPCA volunteers must be over the age of 16. Volunteers between 16 and 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian while they are on SPCA property.

Younger people are welcome to come to the shelter during opening hours with a parent or guardian to offer enrichment to shelter animals as a Cat Cuddler or Dog Walker. To find out other ways people ages 15 and under can help the SPCA, click here!
