Race the Blue Nose in Support of the SPCA

Do you have a goal to walk or run the Blue Nose this year? Sign up to race in support of the SPCA to crush your goals AND help save lives.

Due to COVID-19, this year the Blue Nose Marathon weekend is VIRTUAL! Our team is proudly supported by Ren’s Pets so there will be goodies for you and your pet. Plus, you will receive a 2020 Scotiabank Blue Nose Marathon event shirt, Finished’er medal and race bib!

To thank you for joining our pack, we will be drawing 3 random participants to name newborn kitties/puppies after AND the top fundraiser will be crowned with having their race fee waived.

Walk/run for a cause you care about OR donate towards our goal by clicking here.

How do I sign up to run and support the SPCA?

You can register for the 2020 Blue Nose Marathon and Charity Challenge at the same time. Head over to https://bluenosemarathon.com/ to register. Partway through the race registration, you’ll be asked if you want to join the Charity Challenge, click “yes” and select “Nova Scotia SPCA” from the listed charities.

I signed up. Now what?

Thank you SO much for your amazing support! Once you are signed up, you’ll have access to your own puuursonalized fundraising page. You can share, share, share this link on your social media and via email, come up with other creative ways to fundraise, and recruit friends or family members to join you on the team.

I already registered for the Blue Nose. Is it too late to be part of the SPCA Charity Challenge team?

Wow – Good for you for signing up early! It is never too late to join a Charity Challenge Team. Log in to your Race Roster Account (you would have created one when you registered for the Blue Nose) and scroll down. You’ll see a section where you can join a Charity Challenge Team and you can select “Nova Scotia SPCA” from the listed charities. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What are we raising money for?

All proceeds raised by our 2020 Charity Challenge team will support animal rescue, lifesaving veterinary care, and rehoming opportunities for local pets in need. We do not receive any government funding for our shelters so your support will truly be helping save lives.

When is the race weekend?

The 2020 Blue Nose Marathon virtual race weekend is November 6-8th weekend but you can race before then if you are too excited to wait.
